CONDITIONS

FOR APPLICATION TO BACHELOR STUDIES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF AGRONOMICAL SCIECES AND VETERINARY MEDICINE OF BUCHAREST

IN THE FIRST ACADEMIC YEAR 2015/2016 TO THE FACULTY OF VETERINARY MEDICINE – ENGLISH PROGRAM

FOR

ROMANIAN CITIZENS,

FOREIGN CITIZENS OR

ROMANIAN CITIZENS WITH RESIDENCE ABROAD

 

I. GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS

  1. Romanian citizens as well as the EU/EEA citizens and Swiss Confederation citizens can apply for enrollment at this faculty according to the laws in force.
  2. The period for submitting the files at the Admission Secretariat of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Bucharest, 105, Splaiul Independentei, District 5, is 01.09.2015-30.09.2015. The candidates will personally fill (without proxies or other representatives) a pre-application form which can be obtained from the Admission Secretariat of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Bucharest.
  3. The enrollments for the English Program in Veterinary Medicine will be made only for the first academic year.
  4. The candidates from Greece will present aditionally the document which stipulate that the candidate have all qualities to follow universitary education PDF File.

II.A. The Romanian candidates who wish to study at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine – English Program will submit the complete file (ONLINE SUBMISSION 13932) containing the following documents at the Admission Secretariat of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Bucharest during 01.09.2015-30.09.2015 period:

  • Application form addressed to the Rector and registered;
  • High School Graduation Diploma - original; the persons who have graduated the high school in 2015 and did not receive the diploma can temporarily submit the graduation certificate – original – issued by the high school where they passed the final exams.
  • Recommendation letters/volunteering activities certificates
  • Birth certificate – notarized copy;
  • Identity Card – simple copy;
  • Two recent photos;
  • Medical certificate which proves that the candidate doesn’t suffer of contagious diseases or other conditions incompatible with this domain.
  • Bank statement to prove the payment of the fees for the evaluation of the candidate file and for the defense of the linguistic competence testing (if necessary)

II. B. The foreign candidates or the Romanian candidates with residence abroad will submit the complete file (ONLINE SUBMISSION 13932) containing the following documents at the Admission Secretariat of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Bucharest during 01.09.2015 – 30.09.2015 period:

  • Application form addressed to the Rector and registered;
  • High School Graduation Diploma – original – and its notarized translation in Romanian language*;
  • Recommendation letters/volunteering activities certificates
  • Birth certificate – notarized copy translated in Romanian language*;
  • Letter of acceptance for studies issued by the National Education Ministry from Romania – International Relations Department (www.edu.ro), both original and simple copy. For the EU, EEA and Swiss Confederation citizens the letter of acceptance is not necessary;
  • Passport (for non-EU citizen) or identity card (for EU citizen) and 2 simple copies of the passport pages or identity card with the photo, the issue date and the validity period;
  • Two recent photos;
  • Medical certificate which proves that the candidate doesn’t suffer of contagious diseases or other conditions incompatible with this domain.
  • Bank statement to prove the payment of the fees for the evaluation of the candidate file and for the defense of the linguistic competence testing (if necessary);
  • Certificate of High School Graduation Diploma Recognition issued by the National Education Ministry from Romania only for E.U., E.E.A. and Swiss Confederation citizens (http://www.cnred.edu.ro), High School Graduation Diploma in original and a notarized copy.

* The notarized copies of both High School Graduation Diploma and birth certificate in Romanian language can be made at the Notary Public or at the Romanian Embassy / Consulate in the residence country.

III. FEES:

Veterinary Medicine – Teaching in English is available only with fee throughout the entire duration of the studies. Each candidate will pay the following fees:

  1. The fee for evaluation of the candidate file: 50 €
  2. Annual tuition fee: 4,500 €

 

The fees mentioned above will be payed in the periods mentioned in the Admission calendar at the bank and corresponding account:

IV. SUBMISSION OF THE “OPTION MOTIVATION TO BECOME A VETERINARIAN AND FOLLOWING THE STUDIES IN THE FACULTY OF VETERINARY MEDICINE BUCHAREST (ESSAY)”

  • The assay will be submitted online. The evaluation of the candidates will be granted with grades from 1 to 10. The grade will represent 10% from the final grade. The result will be communicated by email.

 

V. EVALUATION OF LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION / CERTIFICATE OF VOLUNTEER

The letters of recommendation / certificate of volunteer will be written in English. Each document will highlight availability and skills of candidate for veterinary medicine. The letters submitted by the candidate will represent 5% from the final grade. The candidates which cannot provide this kind of documents will lose those five percentages from the final grade, without disqualification. 

 

VI. FINAL EVALUATION OF CANDIDATES

The final grade of the candidates which have participated to the examination will be calculated as follows:

  1. The average grade of the baccalaureate examination or equivalent:85%
  2. The grade of the essay: 10%
  3. The letters of recommendation / certificate of volunteer: 5%
